For quite a while now Lucy has not been bothered about her food in the morning. She has always wanted her food the minute we come down in the morning (about 7am). At about 7 months we took her down to 2 meals a day and had planned to leave it that rather than one big meal per day.
But lately she's just not interested in breakfast. If I really coax her and get down on the floor with her ( ) she might eat some of it. She goes all silly running around me, jumping up, licking me! It's very bizarre. She is certainly not off her food because the minute I start doing my cereal and toast she's drooling all over me! She wolfs down her meal in the evening although I do add minced beef to it (perhaps thats the problem?)
I would be grateful for any advice.

I don`t know what you give her for breakfast, but you could be right when you say it has no mince in it, try splitting the evening mice between the two meals and see what happens.
I think your right to feed two meals rather than one big one, I do that with CJ and Cindy and they both are very ready for breakfast!!, + the 3 cats

Ok - thanks Mary. She has Skinners Field & Trial maintenance. She loved it until I started introducing some raw meat! Now it must be as boring as hell! When I add mince as well I cut down on the kibble a bit. I shall do as you say and split the mince between the two meals.
Thanks again

Scooby has been like this with his food the last couple of weeks. He used to eat both his meals straight away but now he knows that human food is tastier and holds out but eventually eats his dinner.
A couple of days ago he ate his 8am breakfast at 5pm! He eats it when he has the sardines added on Mondays!
