Really daft question alert! I seem to have forgotten all thing puppy related!!

How many teeth will Cookie lose?

Yesterday she lost her top 2 middle teeth, goodness knows where, her bottom 2 middle ones are very loose but not budging yet but I have been checking occasionally.

She is now 4 months old. no wonder she has been so chewy!!

She will lose all of them but it'll take several weeks before all the back ones are replaced too. She will probably get funny "metalic" smelling breath too at some point, especially if there are a few loose ones at the back.

All adult teeth will probably be through by the time she is 6 months old, probably before this, but it'll still be a few months before they settle into their permanent positions....so plenty of chewing until then. Wink

Yes....Cold or even frozen carrots or apple slices are fine...as are frozen damp tea towels. Wink
