wave

Morning all just saw an ad for this and looked on the website and they say its good for pets too Magicool

I can see the advantage things like spraying a hot car before getting in and running the air con etc etc

Has anyone used this or products like it (if they exist) with their pets?

I usually have a can of this loitering around somewhere - we did take some on our holiday to the States two years ago, but found that their water bottles with the fans that they sell in the theme parks were much better at doing the job. (that is keeping you a little cool in that damn high humidity!!!!)

Tbh, I wouldn't have thought that it would be good for pets as I am sure it is lightly perfumed, it is great for humans and certainly makes you feel cooler especially on long car journeys

oohh look what I found

Magicool® 150 ml “Body Cooler & Freshener” unscented, hand-bag size

I am ust wondering if it would work in an emergency overheated situation - tbh I think you would try anything wouldnt you and water is the best option but wondering if water wasnt available maybe this is a worth buying - dunno really.

I can't see why it wouldn't work if you can get your pooch to sit still.

Fudge would run a mile, she doesn't like sprays of any kind since I used the bitch spray on her when she was finishing her season lol

I've used it with Milo but he opens his mouth & tries to eat it!! I use it in the car mainly & tend to spray all the surroundings with it & maybe if Milo is not looking a bit over him Smile

Hmm, sounds like a can of pressurised artificially chilled water (i.e. lots of chemicals) wouldn't a spray bottle of water kept in the fridge have a similar effect?
And of course there's always cool bags if you're going on a car journey.
