The Journey So Far
Barco used to live in Cornwall with NigelB and Harvey. One day, while seeking escape from Harvey's attempts to find out if he rattled when shook, he took refuge on the computer desk where he caught sight of the pictures of all the other Labs on the forum. His little tail wagged and his nosed touched the screen as he tried to climb in to meet all those lovely looking Labs. Surely they couldnt be as big a louts as Harvey was?, always chasing him about! They all looked so friendly, how he would love to meet them! But, try as he might get to them, he couldnt. Just pictures on a cold hard screen. Letting out a little whimper, a small tear rolling down his cheek, he lay watching them.
Day after day he would climb up on the desk to see the pictures of those Labs and listen excitedly to tales of their adventures of broom stealing, knicker nicking, slipper chewing, all sorts of fun sounding things. There was nothing else for it, he wanted to go and meet these lovable rogues himself and, typical lab, what he wants he usually gets!
As soon as it was known that Barco wanted to go travelling the invitations started to arrive from all over the country. Since that day in May, after being sent off by Harvey with a big slobbery lick, he has been having a wonderful time visiting all his Lab friends, sharing their adventures, having his picture taken with them in their favourite places. From Cornwall to Scotland, even a trip to the Isle of Wight. He is having such a great time that he is in no hurry to come home.
So if you would like a visit from our little black travelling mini-lab he would be only too happy to visit and spend some time with you and your lab, just sign up on the website and arrangements will be made for him to come and stay.
To join up and put Barco Polo up in your home for a week, please sign up via the homepage, bottom right hand corner. You will then be advised as to when he will be coming to visit you and your lab or labs! Why not join in all the fun.
