following on from the phobia thead... has anyone had experiance with 'ghosts' as such... anything strange/spooky/scary/unexplainable?

i know theres been alk on here before about your labs and orbs... do you believe?

As i said in the phobia thread... i cant watch a ghost movie and then walk alone round the house - i have a terrible feeling somethings behind me and i panic and run.... (shamefull i know).... i know ghosts arnt (if they exist) just bad thinga and can be guardian anges etc (if you believe in that) but my thoughs are that they are bad and scary and if i ever came across one or something like that in this house id move right away!

Laughing Laughing I've never seen one, but we are all convinced someone else lives in our house with us. We have all heard him or had things happen that we can't explain. As far as I can make out he is a little boy and he is a bit mischievious at time. I have been called "Mummy" quite clearly many times, when no one is home Shocked (and my house is detatched with no small children living close). I have had things go missing only to turn up somewhere REALLY obvious months later (and after I have turned the house upside down looking for it). We have all had things thrown at us. On one occassion I had three stacks of CD's (so about 50 cds) fall right behind me as I was sat at the computer, talk about jump Shocked , there was absolutely no reason for them to fall.

If things go missing now, we all just ask him to put them back and more often than not he will. He doesn't scare me at all, I've lived here 20 years this year and things started to happen almost as soon as we moved in. We are just used to it now I suppose. Wink

I have had many of strange dreams/seeings etc

I do believe in that we are an energy and energy cannot be destroyed!
Eistein also said this
Ive had weird dreams for years now and they tend to be out who will die/be born
The night befor my gran died i caled my dad to tell him she ws going and ofcourse he laughed as i expected.I woke that same night to see my gran in her rocking chair at the bottom of my bed and she said " I love you but now its time, please go to my house,in the sideboard there is an envelope with your name on which contains my glasses (1912 pair, hand made) and my blue beads( these were the things i loved and found them amazing)in the 3rd draw down.
Following day i woke to a call saying she passed at 2.10am,5 mins after i woke/dreamt the night b4.
After the funeral we went to her house and i went straight to the sideboard and to dads amazement they was my envelope with my name on containing the 2 things i loved,a note was also there and it read " I knew i could believe in you "

Second big thing was a friend was pg and i was having awful dreams that things werent right..she is a friend off the wed who will happily tell you the same thing.Date was 14/12/02 and this same day was the date my mum passed away in 95 so i went to lay flowers as usual,3 days b4 i had another dream that her baby had already passed away and didnt say what i had saw...coming back from the crem i stopped at the baby graves and my whole stomach started to turn and i vomited and god knows why i texted her(didnt know she was in labour) and said sorry hun, shes a beautiful angel,he wings have opened!
Later that night i spoke to her OH and that same afternoon she gave birth to an angel(stillborn)... sadly she has suffered 4 MC in 1 yr and now is 17wks pg which i dreamt b4 she found out and this dream says its gonna be a happy healthy little boy Smile Lets see if im right on this one for her

When my mum died i was sitting in the same bed with my sis watching tv and i looked over at the mirror and i saw mum sitting inbetween us and she smiled,i turned to tell sis but she was gone when i looked back!

Spirits-yes my aunts house was haunted by a man called freddie,we named him that from records we researched on him and he was a nasty peice of work...I and the rest of my family were realy scared to use the loo as the back bedroom was HIS...things used to fly, doors closed by themselves etc etc my aunt even had the priest in to bless the house but it seems he wont leave untill hes sorted something!
Aunt died and after being to my sisters house i was stood at the bus-stop and got chatting to a girl who said she moved into the area and that her house was weird lol she said that there were groans, things used to fly of shelves, doors locking but theres no locks etc i did ask was it number 39 and she replied yes and her bedroom was freds room Shocked Shocked Shocked

I find the subject very scary Shocked ! I think if we ever moved into such a house we would have to have it exorcised.

I get easily scared if I watch a scary film or a thriller (don't know why I watch them Confused ) and if I am on my own in the house and I'm ready to go to bed, all the lights go on and I have been known to check behind doors and inside wardrobes!!! My husband has on occasions had to work away and until we got Herbie, I used to hate being on my own.

I can remember one incident not so long ago where Herbie was laying on my lap and I, very stupidly as my OH was working away) decided to watch the last few minutes of the Most Haunted series on Sky. I was watching the programme when Herbie suddenly jumped up and started barking madly at something in the garden and it was pitch black out there! Was I scared?... YES!

oh goodness jules - you have given me shivers.... fair play for getting on with it and asking him to 'put the things back' i just dont think i could do it... ever... oh gosh....

nuttylea - your obviously a believer - so saying that, and obviously there is no right or wrong answer, im interested in your opinion, based on what you said

'Ghosts are energies trapped and want to move on,make there afterlife a better one'

Why are some ghosts so nasty then, like the man you described?

OPINIONS welcome Smile

I went to look at a house quite a few years ago with hubby and parents. No one lived in the house and it was old.
I went to look at the two attic rooms on the second floor. I stood at the door to the room on the right and immediately felt that I wasn't welcome in it (At the time I was going to the spiritualist church and learned alot on how to communicate with sprits) So I stood at the door and didn't go in the room then (and I know I'm gonna sound like a fruit cake, but I'm gonna say it anyway lol Wink ) I could sense it was a young girl around 12 from the victorian era. She was really unhappy about having visitors and she wanted her room left alone. I could 'see' her toys, there was tall dolls house, rocking horse and other victorian style toys on the floor where she had been playing.
So...after we left the house the four of us went to a coffee shop for a drink. I was really quiet and so was my mam (very unlike her lol). I asked if anyone found the house a bit odd? My mam then started telling us that there was a young girl in the house about 12 years old and she was wearing hobnail boots because she heard her running up the stairs and go into the room on the right just before I got up there. I told her what I had seen and decided that both of us couldn't have been wrong. Wink
