Hi Everyone,

If you are coming to the 'Get Together' and would like to stay over in the local area, here are a few places that may help you.

Camping & Caravanning- There is a site at Kingsbury Water Park, this link will give you more information, and it also has links to other campsites nearby. The campsite at Kingsbury is dog friendly, but do check before booking if you decide to stay at any of the others that are close by.

Dog Friendly Hotels (pls check before booking if they accept dogs, they do at the moment)

http://www.welcomebreak.co.uk/location_details.php?id=25&submit.x=16&submit.y=8

http://www.hotels.uk.com/pets/pet-friendly.php?location=Warwick

http://www.uk-hotel-accommodation.co.uk/England/hotels/centralguesthouse2.cfm

http://www.letsgothere.co.uk/lgtnet/attraction/0016454-nac.aspx (check if dog friendly)

I'm looking into a few more and will add them to this link when i have the details. If anyone else has any more that they know of, please add them in this post.

Many Thanks,

julie

This hotel, Marston Farm hotel, is very close to the venue and i have been advised by the manager that they allow up to 5 dogs to stay at any one time, all you will need to do is book in advance.

Might be a nice place to stay if you have a long drive.

Hi all

I have just moved this to the new GT 2006 forum as Julie posted some very useful information here for last year's GT, which should still be valid.

With regard to the Campsite at Kingsbury, whilst the link takes you to the Camping and Caravanning Club website, non-members are more than welcome and all the contact details are listed on this page.

All the best,
Nic

A word of warning, the camp site don't take bookings if you only want to stay one night i.e. the saturday. They said we just have to take our chances!

I don't know if anyone was booking at the Kingsbury campsite this weekend, but I just booked for me, Vik & NIc and they said there were only about 11 plots left.

You can only book for 2 nights (not just 1) and it's £38 for 2 nights (for 2 adults in a tent).

Happy booking!
