Herbie sometimes like to have a munch on long grass, which passes out the other end. Last week, I was walking Herbie as the children were coming out of school (I work there part-time). Herbie's timing was awful in that he decided to do a poo Mad . If that wasn't bad enough, the grass that he had previously eaten was still in his bum, but the other end of the grass was attached to his poo! I had to put my hand inside the poo bag and gently easel the poo and grass out of his bum in front of the children Embarassed . Thankfully, it was not mentioned the following day!

I had a similar experience. Annie had eaten a sock. Twisted Evil and it was stuck in her poo and her bottom, and she started walking around after her poo with it still attached, at a DOG SHOW.

So I had to slowly pull it out of her. I was so lucky that it did not get stuck and cause a blockage. Making sure everything is out of reach now.

Laughing Yes this has happened to me before, having to fish out a long piece of grass from a panicking Corbie's bottom.

Also had the sock dangling from said behind too and having to pull that out. Laughing

Don't you just love 'em!

I remember when I was young and my brother was a very junior Naval chappie, he and his wife had junior married quarters with their 4 month old GSD puppy. I stayed with them one weekend and took her for an early morning walk. She pulled me onto the front lawn of a large detached senior officer's house and before I could do anything began to poo....and poo.....and then she started whining and then howling at the top of her voice and running round and round in circles with me on the end of the lead on this beautiful manicured lawn. Emerging was a lovely blue jeycloth from her bottom.... I had to try and pull it out as she ran round screaming! By this time every curtain in the whole patch was open including the commander and his wife who lived in the house who were watching the whole exhibition. After about 100 years the cloth came away and she shut up and I had to try and clear up all the debris as quickly as I could and hoping noone would ever recognise me again - although I'm sure everyone knew whose pup it was!

At 16 it was probably one the most mortifying moments of my life and the whole family still laugh about it. When Dan had his mile-long cling film moment it was summed up in an instant as 'a jeycloth moment!'.

Luckily Dan's botty moments have been in privacy and no one has seen me wrestling nasties from his bottom!
