I feed my Giant Breed pup, Burns High Energy, but I am switching her this month to Dr John's Platinum which is £11 for a 15KG sack compared to £40 for Burns, a big difference.

Sorry just saw this when the thread was bumped back up. I'm sure there are other differences between the two foods, other than price, but last time I looked, Dr John's included BHA/BHT in its food, which is something a lot of people look to avoid flower

(edit, just checked to make sure they haven't changed it - and it does still include BHA/BHT:

There are other foods that are very reasonably priced that don't include BHA/BHT - I know CSJ and Autarky don't as I checked recently for someone Smile

Personally I am a fan of Burns, Eukunuba or James Wellbeloved.

Arden Grange is also good (but doesnt agree with one of our boys) Iams is also ok.

whatever food you decide dont switch from one to another as this could then encourage a bad tummy.

I started my boy maxie out on eukunuba then went on to burns. you do have to be careful with protein content.

Though all of my dogs are now on James wellbeloved. (my husband used that when I met him, so it made sense to have all the dogs the same).

Please though avoid BAKERS, avoid PEDIGREE chum, they are really crap. very very bad indeed.
