Hi all

This afternoon, I decided to clean out the understairs cupboard (must have been bored!) and in amongst everything else that I thought we had lost, I found a load of Smudge's old toys.

I put these all into a cardboard box in preparation for their new home - a lovely new seagrass chest, which Chris is a bit stressed with me for buying for dog toys (but that's another story!).

Well, Smudgey is having a great time! He keeps sticking his head into the box and retrieving all of his toys one by one! It's so funny! At the moment, he is running around with his 'Doggy Times' squeaky newspaper which I got him the first week he came home! Oh, and now he has just found his Furbabies Fantasy Flyer!

He's like a little puppy running around and having fun! Sadly, Chris has gone out and taken the camera otherwise I could get a shot of him with his head in that box!

Smudge must have been a good puppy Nic,if you managed to save some toys from puppyhood,I got Dylan a Goofy Grins squeaky toy this morning and there's only half left,he just has to take the stuffing out of everything,or he does'nt get any fun out of them.I'm glad Smudge is having a good time playing with his baby toys,Dylan is flat out as he has just been swimming in the river on the Duke of Westminsters estate just outside Chester,so I am making the most of the peace and quiet,as he has tired himself out.big hug for the playfull Smudge from the tired Dylanxxx.

Nic

I did the same thing the other week, cleaned out the drawer and found his very first collar and lead, its so tiny!!! I miss those days, that gorgeous puppy smell.......those cute litttle eyes.....tiny sharp teeth......accidents on the carpet.....hmmmmm think I like him even more now he's all grown up.

We still have the toys he had a pup in his toy box and he still plays witht them

lol Lynne! You know the truth on that one Wink Smudge tends to be better off with robust toys nowadays. It's strange because he didn't destroy soft toys when he was a small pup, but he does now! He's safest with his Kong like toys! Glad to hear that Dylan has had a lovely swim and is relaxed now. Smudge was just about to go to sleep but Chris just got back and has got the biscuit tin out!

Hi Natalie, I found Smudge's first collar and lead too! Soooo sweet! Can't believe they used to fit him! Will keep for when we get him a playmate (why has Chris just gone all pale?!).

Lots of woofs and doggy cuddles to our labby friends!

Ahh, the memories eh?!

Corbie still has all his toys, apart from the odd plush that got a hole made in it. They're still in his toy box and he'll dig them out ocassionally. Luckily he's not much of a destroyer.

I've also still got his puppy collar(s) and lead hanging up still - I say for the next one as well and Graeme goes the same shade of white as Chris I expect Laughing

CJ has no toys left from his puppyhood!, he and Cindy wrecked all stuffies, so now they are banned (actually too expensive!), the thing he`s had longest is a large rubber bone, he is now working on that though and nice bits of rubber are appearing on the carpet, you know the ones that you ALWAYS step on in bare feet Rolling Eyes

Nic and Karen, I`m sure your respective husbands would really be delighted to have a new member in their family! Laughing Laughing
