Hi everyone. This is my first posting on the Labrador forums. I wanted to bring your attention to a sweet black lab bitch who is in need of an operation to replace her hips with tin ones. Shes been in pain and is unable to run around and play with other dogs. She is in foster care at the moment and there is an appeal to raise funds for the operation she will soon desperately need. zebedee1981, do you know how much money they are still looking to raise for her op? We don't really have any spare cash at the moment, but with a black Lab rescue girl called Minnie myself, I will try to find a way to make a little donation
I think it is the same rescue yes. I don't have any connection with them, but from what I know of them, they do excellent work to help Labs.
I'm not sure how much they need to raise. I'm not anything to do with the charity but saw the appeal and read Minnies blog which had me in tears. I'm sure they would need as much money as possible, the operation will be very expensive and the after care will be too. I just hoped that by posting it on the forums more money would be donated for Minnie. Every donation will help no matter how big.
Hi tim66. I don't know anything about the "lunar" case but will have a look at that link. As i said i'm not anything to do with the charity just wanted to help Minnie.
Labrador Lifeline Trust are not an LLR member and as such unfortunately cannot actively fundraise on Labrador Forums, however if a representative from the rescue would like to apply to become a member we would certainly welcome them whole heartedly
