Murphy has just been diagnosed with colitis and would like to get him some probotics for when he is allowed to eat on a 48 hour starve, what kind of fish to buy from tesco, or is chicken okay

vets may be able to sell you some probiotic powder off the shelf, if not you can order naturezyme from www.naturediet.net. www.protexin.com also sold powder form but their website seems to have stopped listing it for sale now .

Fish - White, cod, haddock, coley is fine, steam or boil though, Chicken also OK and again, steam or boil (or microwave). Bolied rice or plain pasta, no additobl salt or anything.
I believe you can get probiotic powder from pets at home or try http://www.ainsworths.com/site.

note dogs probiotics are not the same as human ones. good canine probiotics have 10-12 different bacteria to boost the digestive system.
