Today's training involved the rabbit skin dummy which Tau loves, and rarely gets to retrieve atm. We did a nice memory, with heelwork from where she'd marked it (not far from where we were stood as I'm rubbish at throwing anything except a hissy fit) down to the bottom of a long slope. Sent her for it and she did a lovely retrieve and delivery, so stopped at that.
Tau is at the top of the slope on the dummy, honest
And you can see from the distance the walkers have covered on the path at the top, that she doesn't hang about too much on the way back
One thing I am pleased with is how her 'attitude' is developing, she isn't distracted by other dogs, walkers etc and just wants to get back to me with the retrieve for more fun!!! We're by no means top of any class, but it is nice to get even the simple things right
By the time we got back to the car she was fairly pooped!!
