Well, this must be Labs favourite time of year.
Here up in Scotland, the rain hasn't stopped! And Leo has been in heaven during all his walks, splashing in the puddles and rolling about in the mud.
I never mind going out in the rain, its great seeing Leo have so much fun so it always makes the walks in the rain worth it!
Up until today
I took him into the woods around 2 fields then back home by a country road leading to my house.
Anyway, we were walking around one of the fields when Leos spots this large wooden plank. (like a plant you see on a bed, or a skirting board)
It was huge and he insisted on carrying this thing about!
So running about in the grass with it, in the rain going nuts! (Im sure yous can imagine the scene lol)
So i continue to walk, hoping he'll just drop it....
He must of relised me walking away, and being a bit further on, because he came charging, full speed towards me with the huge plank of wood still gripped in his jaws... He was behind me, ran not past me, but into me!! Crashed right into the back of my legs, plank of wood bashing off my leags and me going face 1st into a filthy puddle!
Leo, runs off to play again like completely nothing has happened!!
Me, left, soking wet and muddy with splinters in my legs and a labrador shaped bruise. lol

Sorry, but that made me laugh.... I can picture you face down in the muddy puddle while Leo's off enjoying himself Poor you, they just don't care do they?!
I'm now wondering if I should take Corbie to the river, as the water's about a foot or so higher than it was a couple of days ago and once he dragged me down a step bank after I was about to let him off his lead and I nearly ended up in the river, but it was very low at the time, so I was ok! Only problem was I had trouble getting back up again as it was about 7ft high and almost vertical... he just stood at the top watching me struggling
