Ooooooh I love marmite. I like the sound of sugar sarnies too! In fact there is not much I don't like really.
I grew up with marmite, two of my three kids love it too. It never harmed me (or them - all of us still alive at last count ). Sometimes I still just luuurrve a lunch of hot buttered toast with marmite on it. I always have to have some in the cupboard. My daughter puts it on crumpets too.
Cheese and marmite sarnies - just scrummy!
I also know a dog called Marmite. Great name!!
Helen.

Oh I like mushy peas too, as I am a Black Country gal at heart really.
Marmite and mushy peas!! Hmmmmmmm! Note to self - must try it. Does it work best with Harry Ramsden ones or supermarket own brand?
Can we have a thread of marmite recipes??
Helen.

Actually, I usually just use tinned marrowfat processed peas and squish them onto the toast.

Mushy peas, mint sauce and marmite. There is a good combination. What else can we culinary experts come up with?
