Ooooooh I love marmite. I like the sound of sugar sarnies too! In fact there is not much I don't like really. Laughing Laughing

I grew up with marmite, two of my three kids love it too. Very Happy It never harmed me (or them - all of us still alive at last count Rolling Eyes ). Sometimes I still just luuurrve a lunch of hot buttered toast with marmite on it. I always have to have some in the cupboard. My daughter puts it on crumpets too.

Cheese and marmite sarnies - just scrummy! Very Happy

I also know a dog called Marmite. Great name!!

Helen.

Oh I like mushy peas too, as I am a Black Country gal at heart really.

Marmite and mushy peas!! Hmmmmmmm! Note to self - must try it. Does it work best with Harry Ramsden ones or supermarket own brand?

Can we have a thread of marmite recipes?? Very Happy Very Happy

Helen.

Actually, I usually just use tinned marrowfat processed peas and squish them onto the toast.

Cool
