kitten 6months old, wakin me up purrin n nuzzling my face ??

hello,

not sure if anyone will have any answers but thought i wud ask, we have a kitten smokey an she sleeps at the bottom off our bed at night but at around 5.30 - 6.00 am she starts purring EXTRA loud an nudging me an o/h with her head for a fuss!!

now i think it is a lovely thing to be doin but she wont leave us alone then for good half hour an if we pay her no attention she goes to buster an starts nuzzlin for his nipples to suckle on !!

we had cats wen we was younger that never woke us up purring like this!! any ideas why??

Mine sleep with me now, when they fancy but when they were younger, I shut them downstairs for much the same reasons. They decide when they want something....and then they pester, in one form or another, until they get what they want. That's cats for you. Wink

well i feel bad if i shut her dowstairs as buster is upstairs so i dont no wat to do lol!

might have to just put up with i i suppose, she is cute though an im glad shes so fussy i dont like angry cats LOL!! x

we have 3 cats and one of them tigger sleeps bottom of our bed with charlie or she will climb into our pop up wash basket in bedroom and sleep in that but everymorning she will also jump on my OH about 3am yes 3am pmsl and sing her head off and nuzzle him,

now this i could put down to routine because husband is a milkman and gets up that early so tigger fusses around him and gets a sachet of food out of it Wink

she will then do the same to me about 6:45am wake me up and act like she has never been fed and get another sachet of food..lmao..

see how darn clever they are they have us like puppets on a string pmsl..

so i would say your cat is probably a little peckish and would like a bit of fresh food please..lol..or just a lovely cuddle and stroke Wink

well she gets a nice fuss out off it an yeh u cud be right cus o/h gets up around 6.30 -7.00 to feed her during week anyway!!

they are so spoilt aint they!! an there cleverer than u think!!

my 2 kittens do the same thing to me, but midnight starts by licking my forehead, which at 4am feels like some one rubbing a heavy grade sandpaper across it lol now the kittens sleep downstairs

lol lemondaog, i never had her licking us yet !!

i shut her out this mornin felt terrible but it was 3am an she was purrin n pesterin buster so i shut her out the bedroom then 6am i heard her scratchin the door so she came bak in!!

il get used to it i suppose !! xx
