we were out this morning megan was playing with some gogs when we noticed a smashed bottle ,megan picked up a piece in her mouth and cut herself .it bled quite a bit i was angry about the glass and panicked when i saw blood .shes fine now i gave her soft food for her breakfast bless her .should i keep her on soft food today and any help please thank you suexx

Oh poor Megan how awful. Argh it does make you cross doesn't it.
Are you sure there's no glass left in the wound? That would be my worry and a call to the vet but if not and its stopped bleeding I'd leave well alone and just keep a close eye on her. Is it her lip that got cut?
Yes I think soft food is a good idea, poor poppet.
Hope she feels better soon.

Cant offer any real advice but I hope it all heals up nicely. See if you can bathe the area with salt water - that is what I did on Phoenix' ear when she got bitten, although much harder around the mouth area to do it.

thanks for your help ,well the cut is just below her nose i bathed it with salt water and its fine now thank goodness .theres no cuts in her mouth but you should have seen the blood im affraid i panick i rang my vet hes so good he told me cuts to the face always bleed alot he can say that again .once again thanks for your help suexx
