Hey peeps, after reading on a couple of threads that you guys 'treat' your poochies with the odd tin of tuna or mackeral, I bought some for Lucy, and so far, she's had 3 tins over about 2 weeks. 2 in tomato sauce and 1 in oil. But, i've just realised I'm buying tins that contain 4 fillets, but know that you can also buy them with just 2 fillets.

So, is 4 fillets ok? I cut down on her usual dry kibble on the days she gets the fish, and also, is the tomato sauce really ok for our little darlings or is the oil variety better? For those of you who give tuna too, do you give them a whole can? I normally buy the kind in spring water...is that ok? Any other things one can add to meals which is healthy and tasty??

Thanks peeps, in advance Very Happy

I`d go for the ones in spring water as that`ll be less fattening than tom sauce and oil, what you`ve given her sounds ok over a couple of weeks, I think most treat once a week or so, with 4 I guess you could treat her twice a week Smile

Woo hoo, Mary, Lucy will be chuffed to bits! Never saw the mackeral in water, only the tuna but will definitely look next time! Thanks.
