could anyone tell me some puppy food that is grain free and decent please (in quality and price!) Shay and Ebony are on Skinners duck and rice and their poops were ok to start with but now we are nearing the bottom of the bag their poops are getting worse again. sorry they are on adult now so i need some opinions on decent adult food but i could still do with pointers on puppy food anyway because Bentleys on hills puppy and he hasnt produced a firm stool yet.

im afraid the honest answer is there isnt a perfect one fits all dog food, its what ever agrees with your dogs tummy. ive just had 6 weeks of trial and error finding something that doesnt give asbo dog the squirts. after 2 visits to the vets and trying various brands over the last 5 months, jwb gives him dry skin and sometimes the squirts. burns dry skin. skinners duck and rice gave the squirts, barf, eventually worked out he had an intolerance to chicken and duck and the one that makes him solid and good health for the past week is dare i say it chappie complete dry and buying that goes against all my food principles but it agrees with him fingers crossed

You could try orijen from zooplus.co.uk it has no grain and is a barf diet in kibble form if that makes sense !
I use it for Paddy when travelling and it's not convenient to carry chicken wings, thighs, liver etc.
