As you know, in my quest to research as extensively as I can in this area, I have come across a study in the States, where they are undertaking research into Labs and GSD's with severe HD - and need blood samples from labs (and GSD's) with the condition.

I have been in touch with the study organiser, and they are still seeking samples - so if you can help - please please do - link below for further information.

(Mods - any chance of making this a sticky?)

I am at my vets on Tuesday with my mums dog, so will print it off and ask if they could get a sample from Keira.

When Keira was diagnosed, she had bloods sent off for genetic tests in the UK.

Hopefully all the tests will help Very Happy

Sadly can't help as Rocky is a GR, but do hope these tests help them find out more of the info that is needed on HD.

I'm meeting a friend tomorrow who is going to Buckley House (Charlie's specialist) so will call in and see if they can take a sample from Charlie. If not then I'll speak to my own vet

Thank you ladies for your positive responses - Di and a few others have experience of sending blood to the States - and I am pretty sure it was delivery within two days - hopefully someone will see this and be able to shed some light.
