To give advice but so hard when one of your own is involved?

I'm worried sick about Anna although deep down I know it's nothing really. She's very lame on her right hind. It's the same leg where she had a lump removed 3 years ago. She has always favoured that leg a bit ever since. The lump was attached to the muscle which had to be cut away to get to it. So really, I'm pretty sure what the problem is, too much bouncing around on her bad leg, but still I worry. Took her into the vet this morning to get some anti inflammatories to help it so now we must wait.

Trouble is, she was supposed to be visiting the local Rainbow Troop on Monday. I saw the troop leader this afternoon and she's put the visit back a week, but I don’t like letting the children down. I understand a couple are still there from when Anna went last year and have been telling the rest all about her.

OK, I know it's not rational to worry, but. . . . . . . . .

Regards, John

She is your girl and you love her! It is always easier to tell someone else not to worry than to tell yourself the same thing!

I do hope that Anna gets the all clear soon to put your mind at rest, you are on of the nicest people on this forum Very Happy Always helping others so I know everyone else also wishes Anna a quick recovery from her poorly leg too!

I'll echo that John, try not to worry too much. And give her extra loves just because!

Kids are resilient and will have forgotten there was to be a doggy coming this week within a few minutes!

& if the teacher tells them its because she had to go to the animal doctor it will give the children some thing to learn
Kids are mostly caring & compassionate towards animals they will understand

& yep always easia to give than take your own or others advice

Poor Anna, I hope she feels better soon, and try not to worry, (says the worlds biggest worrier)

I am sure her fanclub will be all the more pleased to see her, good things are worth waiting for Very Happy

Sorry to hear Anna's leg is playing her up atm, John.

We always worry when it is our own. I do hope her anti-inflamatories do the trick for her, and plenty of rest.

Helen.

This was the wound which I believe is causing her present problem. Apart from that she is very fit, and a nice weight. (32.7Kg) But my lady is 10 years old now and that is a detail which I dont like. Amy is being so careful around her. Smile

Regards, John
