I take Cole to work with me on Fridays so we can go swimming after words, and this morning he was chewing on my bottle and the next thing I know he spits the cap out (fully in tact) and has the proudest little look on his face. I of course almost wrecked while praising him (I know I shouldn't have but he's just so darn cute) and I put it back on and told him to do it again and he gave me that 'I can't believe you just did that after I went through all that trouble' look. Anyone else have labbies that can open bottles and such?

lol I love labs! I think it was last night that I had the toilet cover down and I heard him drinking and I looked and he was drinking with the lid on his head.

He's never opened the fridge but he's pretty good at doors.

Yes Corbie can open bottles. Very Happy He plays with empty plastic soft drinks bottles and usually manages to get the top off, so I have to take them off so he doesn't swallow them.

LOL, what a clever little boy!, CJ`s never done that, but then he has`nt had the oppurtunity, somehow him being him though, I think he`d more likely chew it off Laughing Laughing

I've never had the problem with him taking them off before. Him and his Kate usually play with them and never have the chance to take it off. Corbie sounds like a very smart pooch from the things I've read so far. Very Happy

lol, Cole is more of a fiddler than a chewer.

Mine can manage the same thing, I have only got to drop an empty bottle, plastic one of course,..... and ellie is there like a shot, she grabs it and starts to chew on it and before long she has got the top off and she leaves it on the floor beside the bottle and is happily chewing on the bottle untill I rescue it from her and put it into the recycling bin, before she does herself any harm. Rolling Eyes

These labs of ours are very clever indeed. Confused Smile
