Does anyone have one of these?

fatboy uk

I have been eyeing them up for some time, they look so durable and are so comfy I think I would be curled up in the dogs bed.

Or better still anyone know of a cheaper alternative?

Thanks

Great name.. i dont' have one but I did see them at the Olympia horse show.. they look really good and reasonably durable.. however i think they are a bit on the pricy side.

They do look good, although you can get a memory foam dog bed for a similar price, which, I would imagine, would be more hard-wearing and beneficial perhaps?

yes they are a bit pricey for what they are - which is just a heavy durable bean bag Rolling Eyes

I never thought of memory foam, that would probably be more comfortable too.

Do they get hot though? Is memory foam basically sponge? - because sponge is usually warm.

Memory foam works with body temperature, it is temperature sensitive. Here are a couple of links explaining:

http://www.saverpetbeds.com/memory-foam-dog-beds-58-p.asp

http://www.orvis.co.uk/store/product_choice.asp?pf_id=99TC&dir_id=625 9&group_id=7721&cat_id=7722&subcat_id=7723

EDIT: This link explains better and prices are good too:

Ooh thanks Sarah they look much better - the last one will even print a name on it and special order sizing which is perfect because Basil likes to have a side to his bed to lean on so I could then put this inside one of those big ferplast beds
