Not generally no, it would be excluded from a new policy as an existing condition. So if your dog has an existing condition, you're really tied into that policy (unless you'd prefer to move and cover the cost of that condition yourself).

Generally the answer is no. The ask you to declare any previous conditions and these are then excluded from the policy. I believe that they can check up on claims via an insurance database so you do have to declare them.
