Not that i mind them barking, they are dogs afterall but my neighbour has complained this week that my new lab (Buffy) was barking for 3 hours solid while i was out the other day. She was outside with Daisy. Since then i've been a right stress head everytime she barks and daren't leave her outside when i'm not in. I have to say she normaly only barks for maybe a minute or so when i've heard her but i have had to go to her a couple of times to tell her to be quiet (which has worked). I'm just afraid she will bark loads again when i leave her outside. Next door have a 1 year old baby so i can understand their anger and feel bad about it.
Any suggestions?? She has come from a breeder who ke pther outside so she is used to it. maybe it's just her settling in period??

Instead of stopping your dog from barking. I would teach it too bark. This will allow your dog to understand what barking is and when too bark and when not too.
