Hi there,
We're looking to board our 3 year old lab in kennels just for one day and I was wondering if anyone would recommend 'Allers Farm Kennels' near High Blantyre? From their website they look really good but would appreciate a recommendation.
Many thanks,
Morag

Hiya Morag!
Thanks for the great day today - it was lovely to see you and Richard and Jess. Belle has slept all evening! I think she must be going through a growing spurt.
Is the 1 day for the wedding? If I am free that day, I don't mind looking after Jess for you.......
Jen.

Recently I boarded my 2 for a day, while at Border Union Champ show, at Lawersbridge Kennels in Mauchline near Kilmarnock. I went to see the set up first and was very impressed. The kennels are spotless and the dogs have several runs outside and a large indoor barn to use. I was very happy to leave my 2 there and they will go again on the 26/8 while I am at SKC.
The website is www.lawersbridgekennels.co.uk
I am in Paisley so it's about half an hour for me. to get to the kennels. I, personally, don't mind this as the kennels are excellent and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hi Jen and Belle,
Had super time yesterday, thanks for having us to visit!
Thanks for the offer to look after Jess, will definitely take you up on the offer in the future. Since we need day care on a Monday and are heading South, we shall try to find good kennels in Glasgow for this time.
Morag x

Thank you for the recommendation Alyson, it's much appreciated. I've had a look at their website and they look really good kennels. It sounds like the dogs get plenty of individual attention and are well looked after. I also like how they prefer to know their likes and dislikes and their normal routine so the dogs feel settled. Will definitely go and have a look, thanks!

Hi Morag,
No worries, and definitely look forward to meeting up more in the future. I am looking forward to when we can walk Jess and Belle together, although obviously I don't want Belle to get past the puppy stage too quickly!
See you Tuesday.
Jen.

Hi Mhairi,
We didn't board Jess at Lawersbridge Kennels, they look really good and it was brilliant to get a recommendation (I've gone to look at their website a few times since but it's down). It was really because we only needed kennels for one day whilst we were at a wedding which started quite early. So we were looking for somewhere closer where we could drop her off really early and collect her on the same day. As it turned out this wasn't possible in the kennels we ended up using! (We got another recommendation for the SSPCA boarding kennels at Milton, we went to visit them and the kennels are spotless but the dogs don't get much exercise so wouldn't like to use them again for Jess).
I'm still on the look out for good kennels in the Glasgow area and we are planning on visiting the Lawersbridge Kennels. I also got a recommendation from Vari and Kyla for Glenview Kennels at Milton of Campsie.
I see you have lots of labs, would you be looking to board them together? Would be good for company.
