What does c.c.w. : winner of english cc mean? I've come across it a few times whilst looking at pedigrees.

It means the dog has won one or more CC's (a CC is given to the best dog and bitch in the breed at a championship show) - the dog needs three CC's under three separate judges to get their show champ.

It is not (as far as I'm aware) shown on pedigrees - but from someone maybe looking at a pedigree - it shows them the dog has achieved a good (well above average) standard in the show ring Very Happy

That's great - thank you Sue! I've found a few of these whilst researching Bournville's pedigree & was wondering what it meant!
