Hi all
We want to try Roo with a bone from the butchers ... is he old enough? He is 13 weeks old. Also, can he have venison ears etc from Burns?
Thanks, Tom, Han and Roo

Hi there
I started giving Digger marrowbones from the butchers around this age. Used to give him 15minutes or so with it then take it away and store it in the fridge and give him it for a wee while the following day etc. This way he wasn't eating too much marrow and giving himself a dodgy belly!
Roo will love them hopefully, they're great cos it gives you a ,sometimes needed, moment of peace *LOL*

Cut it up (using a hacksaw) into smaller bits and freeze some bits for another day. I seem to remember reading on here that it may be a good idea to scoop some of the marrow out from inside and bin it, as the marrow can be quite rich? (for a puppy's tummy).
