His fetish seems to be for the post at the moment! If I put it down by the edge of the table or something, he rips it to shreads! Thankfully, he did that to one of the two letters I got today and thank goodness it was the junk mail and not the car tax reminder! (Or maybe I wish it had been!).
A work colleague of mine has a yellow lab that has a thing for children's clothes generally. Her son's socks are not safe at all, but anything small is fair game as far has her dog Anna is concerned. So far Barney has only tried one pair of tights. It was quite funny, he came through to show me what he was doing and there was one leg trailing behind..... he'd eaten the rest. I pinned him down and pulled it out - I think this was enough to put him off as he hasn't done it again. Needless to say, the tights went in the bin The thought of wearing regurgitated tights - YUK!

Put friendly mouse traps in the loft yesterday and just checked to find a mouse in one. Took into garden to make sure it was ok and it was. Closed lid and was going release it in the woods behind house but corbie jumped up, knocked trap out of my hand and the mouse went running under the boiler (which is in a housing outside the house) It's probably making it's way back into the loft as I type
