Anyone local to Plymouth out there who may know of a good puppy class in the area? Had a look online and got 2 possibles to phone and enquire about, but wondering if anyone has any recommendations?
I plan on going along on my own to have a look before taking Megan along. She is just coming up to 15 weeks old.
Regards,
Aimi and Megan

I'm nowhere near Plymouth so can't recommend any actual classes I'm afraid- but 1 thing to definitely ask when choosing is whether the trainer allows a decent session of (controlled) off-lead play - but make sure it's just puppies as older dogs can be intimidating and have a negative effect. The puppy training class I took Daisy to from about 10 or 12 weeks was purely training and the poor little girl had such trouble trying to concentrate when there were all these other fun pups around...I'm sure its one of the reasons she still gets so excited around other dogs! If only she'd been allowed a bit of off lead play time before class started them I'm sure she'd be less mad around other dogs now. Check at your local vets - ours has puppy classes advertised on the notice board or the receptionist/vet will probably be able to recommend one.

Yes check out the vets, I'm sure they'll know of classes in the area. Our vets runs a 4 week free puppy class. Truffle went to her second class last night. Great to see all the puppies together. They have not done any training as yet (next week is an introduction to clicker training), but they weight them, they play and last night they explained about looking after their teeth. They also recommend training classes in the area and what to look for in a training class.

Hope you find one soon.
