Well, got my tent today Laughing and it's rather beautiful, i'll have a practice run in the garden soon if the whether's nice. Got harnesses for dogs a while back and they're fab - i thought i could do with these as they'll be on lead for most of the GT, which is quite a foreign concept for them, majority of their walks are off lead in the woods, especially if i'm walking them together Shocked ANyway.. i'm wondering now if flexi leads would be a good idea too, to allow them that bit of extra freedom?? I looked after a labby once and he had one, but would run and run, then get to the end of the extender.. i was convinced he'd get whiplash!!!! Are they really suitable for labs? Will we all get tangled at the GT with them?? What size to people have? and are they really worth £17.99!!!!???? Sorry for all the questions, but can't help thinking i could get some nice sparkly leather leads for that kind of money Cool

I have to say I wouldn't be without bens flexi lead Laughing you can lock them at what ever lenght of lead you like so they aren't constantly roaming on it. I took mine to last years G.T and it was ok, we did have a few tangled moments but nothing to bad Laughing Laughing Ben's is a compact 3 tape version rather than string, I'd certainly recommend them and mines been worth every penny Wink Very Happy

i have the same flexi lead as carroll, clare. we only use it at the resevoir cos it has scary algae and i dont want her to die, as much as she is a pain in the derriere Laughing we dont regularly go there so it is sat in my boot waiting for a use at the mo.

pheebs is the same on the lead clare - she is walked off lead the whole time (99%) apart from by the roads so she is crap on a lead Sad i know i should do something about it (like train her not to be) but well i just haven't got round to it yet Laughing (waits for the flame thrower) Embarassed Laughing

I will be taking Alfie's flexi lead to the GT, i know he'll be so over excited about seeing all the people and dogs that he'll probably forget all his lead training though, like he does at every GT Rolling Eyes He's used to being offlead most of the time too so i think the flexi lead will give him a bit more freedom Very Happy

I'll be taking Charlie's flexi-lead, as well as his normal one.

Helen.

I'll be taking Baileys Smile gives him that bit more freedom. Usually end up in a tangle with Bailey and Troy when they are both on theirs. All part of the fun through
