Do you use any supplements to help with your dogs coat, or what is recommended for a healthy shiney coat?

I feed mine on Autarky which they do very well on but wondering if a supplement of either evening primrose oil and/or cod liver oil is good for them? Seven Seas do a combined evening primrose and cod liver oil capsule. Also, does cod liver oil actually help at all with mobility/joint care of an older dog? My dad has a 12 year old who has always had hip displaysia since he was 2 and now has severe arthritis. he is on anti imflammatory drugs but wondering if cod liver oil would help too.

Thanks
Kay

When Corbie was on Autarky he had a really healthy shiney coat and didn't need any supplements.

He's come off it now because we had a bag from a faulty batch, which put him off it, although I hope to get him back on it in the future, if he'll eat it!
