i've resized it but i think its still too big, does anyone know how i can resize it without it looking so speckily (sp?) Confused

Could be an idea to reduce it a bit. The recommended size for images is "200 x 60" and yours is "300 x 225".

To give a guide on size, your image is around 137000 bytes larger than my signature image and about 134000 larger than dandogs.

I would suggest you crop the image - i.e. remove some of the garden surround so as not to compromise Ruby's picture - it would also make the focus on her sharper.

Sorry if I am teaching "Granny to suck Eggs" so to speak - You will need a photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Image Editor (both usually come supplied with PC's).

yours is 153 by 115 pixels and 51141 bytes. If you right click on the photo and choose properties it wil show you the size.
