I have read all thro 7 pages of posts on insurance & couldn't find anyone who mentioned L V. They cover £5000 with no time limit, £60 excess for £14.48 per month. I have my car & house insurance with them & have made claims & they are very good. Just wondered if anyone had dealings with them for pet insurance? Thanks in advance

Sounds like a good deal, although M&S started out with good deals too and then their premiums shot up once you`d been with them a year.

I assume from you saying £5000 with no time limit, that covers the dog for life for an ongoing condition (such as epilepsy) as long as you remain insured with them?

I also wonder whether £5000 is enough these days with vets fees, a hip op could eat that all up in one fell swoop.

I reckon £5000 is not a lot per condition - unless it's per condition per year. Unfortunately some conditions can need lifelong treatment and can become very expensive in the longterm.
