You could say that Carol! the list of breeders reads like a "Who's Who" of working dog people!

Let's see, Steve Jolly, John Halstead, Edward Martin, Billy Steel, Susan Scales, Dave Garbutt et al!

Garrenden Captain won the IGL Retriever Championship in 1998, Pocklea Remus in 1991 and Kenue Fir of Leadburn a Diploma of merit in 1996. These are just the highlights but there is plenty of depth in that pedigree!

Regards, John

John i thank you, i have ripped up his papers already, wanted to register him for future generations of rain coat wearers such as yourself lol, but he is a pet and after your advice he will remain just that, he has been a star recently though, now picks up keys dropped in the woods 100 yards behind us when we say find them, and can carry a pear in his mouth and give it back without a bruise in it at all i presume that is in his preeding that ability??? and he is only 9 months old

He's got plenty of brain Carol, use it and you will have such great fun together. As I've said before, It doesn’t matter what you teach, it all stretches the brain.

Regards, John
