Mitch is also going at 11 months, just like Ash!!!!
He's a high energy boy, more so than Ash but with different issues. But a lovely natured boy and VERY bright, so probably the Super is right that he needs bigger challenges to help him mature.
But I was so looking forward to having his birthday party at the end of next month And his pal Kiefer was coming for a sleepover too - now he and Megan will have to keep each other company.
And just as he is coming good when I've been so busy with little Blythe
But that's the way it goes. We'll just have to pack a lot into the next month...
And no we haven't even thought about a new one although I know from last year Megan will really miss him. Ho Hum.

I think its a wonderful thing you do, must be bittersweet when they go.
Sorry he won't be with you for his sleep over birthday party

Having had time to think about it - my first reaction was "He's not ready yet" but I think it' really "I'M not ready yet". I was so looking forward to having his birthday with him
He's so comfortable with us he's pushing the boundaries again and again - so I think they may be right that he's ripe for the next stage.
If he was my forever dog I'd be taking him to classes to give him more to think about.
But oh boy yes, we'll miss this one.....

Aww, when does he go? It seems like no time since you brought him home.

I know he's ready, and I'm getting used to it - there have been so many "proud mummy moments" recently but only because I'm really concentrating on his issues before he goes. I know he needs the challenge of the next stage and someone who will concentrate on him 100%.
So - we're counting down, the last train ride (only Irvine to Troon and back but still exciting for him); last trip to Culzean Country Park, last walk with his pal Kiefer (also GD pup, a bit younger) tomorrow in the woods where they can go daft together. Kiefer is coming for a sleepover at the end of the month (think I said) so Megan won't be too lonely.
NOT the last walk at the Beach Park, his fave place:
And yes, we've asked for a new one ASAP. Must be MAD

Awwwww ((((HUGS)))) .
Well I was once told they used to take the pure Labs in at 10 months old, as they matured faster than the other breeds and crosses .
I don't envy you all those Last Time's, as I can remember all too well sobbing on the bus and round Tescos , in fact sobbing is all I seemed to do for that last couple of weeks (and for a good bit afterwards too).
I wish Mitch all the love and luck in the world and I hope he finds a fantastic, loving partner.

I don't know about Mad, but you're a braver soul than I .

That went fast!, doesn`t seem 5 minutes since you posted he`d arrived with you, you and others like you that puppy walk, do a fantastic job, as someone said though it must be bittersweet when they have to move on.
I wish Mitch every success in his further training and look forward to hearing about the new arrival when s/he arrives

oh wow - that seems to be coming round so quickly. Thinking of you as it's a tough time. Wishing Mitch good luck for the next phase of his training.
