Alfie's Dublin dog collar split, so I ordered a new one. His first one was large, but always seemed a bit too big, so I ordered a medium, to fit 13 - 17". It arrived today and although Alfie's neck measures 17", it isn't long enough.

So I measured the distance from the buckle to the furthest hole, and it's not quite 17". And even if the furthest hole did fit, there is such a small end left that it won't go through the loop that stops the end flapping, leaving the collar very insecure.

Just thought I'd warn you all!

That's a shame, some of the sizes on collars and things are 'interesting' to say the least Rolling Eyes

We have the same problem. Lillie has a medium and in order to get the end through the loop it's been on the 4th from end hole, but just been told by the vet tonight it's too tight and to loosen it two holes but now it's no longer secure so will have to go.

You'd think they'd do in between sizes as this is obviously a common problem!
