Well my mum and i bought a pack between us to try the puppies on as it's pretty much the same to james wellbeloved, anyway they both hate it even mixing it in with food they like such as tuna/pilchards and some left over meat and gravy. So in my opinion if two dogs from different breeders (mines a lab and mums in a boxer) hate it don't try it! I have to add that it was gradually introduced, we have both tried softening it with water and fresh chicken stock and both refuse it point blank.
just thought i would share if somebody is going to try it and if you live near me i can give you a trial for free as have loads lol

Lillie loves the Wainwrights wet food, mixing it in with her Skinners is the only way we can get her to eat dry food!

lola loves the wet but seriously hates the dry and will actually eat round it!
