So have you been able to start the BARF then?! That's ridiculous - does he think you would sue him if YOU ate the wings and choked? What an idiot! Found a potential meat supplier today, have to ring them tomorrow, they do bulk orders for the catering trade and can do next day delivery of fresh or frozen meats of all types...bet they will need really massive orders though. Amber had some more raw chicken legs today, she was going mental when I was warming them up under the tap, I've never seen her get so excited about food ( and she loves food!) Very Happy

Sorry to hear about the butchers, Carroll! He's being so very silly. If all this works out, I'm going try Landywoods myself. Do they require big orders? I haven't got that much freezer space Sad

Fed tripe for the first time today, with Kay's strict instructions of course. No confidence if I don't consult her first Cool I think Wendy's love for me has doubled. Though... is it normal for her not to have chewed at all? These are so much bigger than kibble... she swallowed the tripe chunks whole! Is this gonna cause digestion problems?

Oooooo yes started RMB's yesterday and Majic is in 7th heaven, my kitchen looked a bit like an abbatoir yesterday as sorting meat out but we got there, phoned Landywoods today and left a message on Britbarf as Landywoods usually only take orders of 36lb trays for one particular meat but she did say that she does half cases for new customers.

Although on Britbarf people have put orders in for less and they are delivered if you want a supply from LW ring up first to see when they are in your area as I have to wait 4 weeks so using butcher just to tide me over.

Majic so far has had chicken wings/thighs no probs with bones, heart, kidney and rabbit and loved the lot. Very Happy

Perfectly normal Julia.... dogs dont chew... they crunch if something needs broken up... if not, then down it goes.... dogs jaws are not designed to chew, so no need to worry about her swallowing whole Smile

You can get chicken wings from the supermarket Carroll, which I assume you have as you said Majic has been having them Very Happy , why wouldn`t he gice you liver and kidney though?!

He obviously doesn`t feed true raw or RMB if he doesn`t allow them to have bones!! Shocked .

Had a look at that Landywoods, its a good place but I won`t have room for the amounts!, all I really want to try and get for my pair is rabbit, butchers round here don`t seem to do it Shocked , will start looking at abbatoirs I think Smile

How is Majic doing on the diet?, I know its early days yet, can bet she thinks your the best thing since sliced bread, or in her case kibble Laughing

Maybe as Majic gets used to it you could try giving her the rabbit c/w fur, think Kay says she does that with her gang Very Happy , that or ask the butcher to skin it for you, would cost a bit more though I imagine Smile
