I'm starting to jump on the feeding raw bandwagon as well! Tested with some liver and Wendy looked at me with such love and happiness I can't resist anymore!
Now to get me some books and bug Kay nonstop with PMs!

Thanks Kay, I have a little story about rice pudding especially ambrosia variety. I was told a while back now, to try and feed one of my dogs who was poorly, rice and i remember opening up a tin of rice pudding, giving it to the dog and when I told my oh, I felt a right fool afterwards as I had only given the best variety on the market today

if your dog was poorly with an upset tum, she should have been given well boiled (practically pulped) long grain rice.... not rice pudding I am sure I have made similar faux pas over the years, but, with age, my memory is not as it was (my excuse for not embarrasing myself recounting the tales)
Ambrosia rice pudding is very rich in lactose, and can make tummy upsets much worse
But, if your dogs have cast iron stomachs, as mine seem to have, then a little bit of what you fancy ... as the saying goes

Hi Julia
I have just ordered a book recomended by Kay called
Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats: The Ultimate Diet
Kymythy Schulze
There is a slight delay with it so you may want to get it ordered quite soon.
Good luck
