LSF, I give C&CJ pork and liver, not too much liver cos that tends to loosen them up, if they are regularly wormed there should be no probs at all, but I`m sure Kay can confirm or otherwise
As for the Lamb it could be whatever ingredients were in the meal were upsetting Enid, so I`d give lamb a try, maybe just a small amount to start with and see how she goes, my friend has a GSD that can`t eat chicken based meal, but is fine with raw.
Was the tripe you gave from a meal mix again?, or frozen raw, again if it was meal based, i`d try her with a bit and see.
Veggies should be minced/blended, I do give give CJ a raw carrot now and again cos he enjoys them, but they are hard for them to digest that way and they don`t get the nutrients from them
As for how much to feed, you`ll start to get an idea of whats right for her by looking at, if she has the "waist" and you can feel her ribs but not see them, then she`s doing well, if she gets on the thin side, increase, fat/tubby decrease
Monya, I think Kay said 3% of bodyweight per day per dog, with Mambo you could give him a little les and Mylo a little more, you`ll soon get to know by looking at them how they are doing weight wise
I`m not sure on the butternut squash, again I think kay may know, maybe best to text her so she doesn`t have to trawl through this thread
Wendy, don`t know how many wings you gave Bailey for his dinner some 10 days ago!!, I`d suggest a couple tho

Hi all, want to give this barf diet ago but am totaly scared even after reading this hole 18page thread and am concerned about next years hols when charly is in kennels, wondering if it is best to keep him on half raw and half complet dry and how to work out how much to feed of each if I do this.

butternut Squash is OK... in small doses only....the oxalic acid can interfere with Calcium absorption... I dont feed it to dogs under 14months at all.....the same applies to spinach and beetroot leaves
If anyone does need to ask a question...please PM me... I tend to only pop into this thread occassionaly...
