Ali if you have a mincer or blender put Marley`s carrots through that, they`ll do him more good that way, Asda have chicken wings very cheap atm, meant for human consumption so perfectly ok for dogs Very Happy

Di is right, raw chicken with bone in is fine because the meat wraps itself round the bone on the way down, the chewing of same prior to swallowing prompts the digestive juices to get working before it actually get there and so begin the digestive process straight away, TMI maybe, but trying to put your mind at rest Very Happy

CJ and Cindy have been on RMB`s for almost two years now, think people that have seen them at GT`s can tetsify that both are fit healthy specimens Laughing

That`ll make it better for him then if the carrots are minced, nice and easy to get down and no pain for gums/teeth.

That said though CJ loves a whole carrot!, I always have to get extra when I buy for myself, Cindy loves them as well Very Happy

Hi There,
We have had Finley and Elwood on BARF for the past month and a half, partly due to Elwood not being happy with Nutro, but mainly because we prefer to know exactly what our dogs are eating, and already there are several things we have noticed.

Their poo is smaller, they go less times despite eating more volume of food, and Elwood's is no longer runny. Both are producing what we refer to as "Window Breakers". Very Happy

Finley, the larger dog by far, has more stamina and has lost some weight - which is what we needed. Elwood has put a little bit of weight on - also what we wanted.

Elwood, who used to drink copious amounts of water, is drinking what we would call normally now. We are presuming he was dehydrated from the kibble.

Both look in great condition, but they did before anyway.

Meal times take longer to produce but are worth it.

Result: 2 happy owners and 2 happy dogs
