Yep - it sure is!
For those of you that took part last year you'll know what i'm talking about!
We are going to have a sponsored walk for charity, all proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
The waddle & the toddle will take place at this years Annual Lab Forums Get Together at Kingsbury Water Park. Last year it was a whole lot of fun, even though we did get a bit lost! LOL! Rest assured, the route is well known now..
We have taken into account that the little pups amongst your lovely labs might not be up to much, so we have put together the following two walks;
1) The 1km Puppy Toddle
AND
2) The 3km Lab Waddle
It's going to be great fun once again - we're looking forward to seeing all the little ones doing their walkies, the older labs will of course have to show them how it's done!
I will soon be getting some sponsor forms from Cancer Research UK which we will be able to distribute to you all, so i'll let you know when they arrive.
I would be grateful if you could answer the attached poll and also reply to this post with your name & your labs name/s, just to let us know if you'll be doing the waddle or the toddle!
We will be doing the 3km waddle Majic will get round I may need oxygen
Like the charity it is for too as we donate to this a lot in memory of my mum and my OH is doing Great North Run through his work who sponsor a charity every year and this year it is Cancer Research so we will be contributing a lot this year.
I'm not sure yet what combination of dogs I'll have with me, depending on when pup no.6 joins us, but I expect I'll do the long one with Echo and Zorro. I'm keeping an eye open for an old pushchair at the moment that I can get Dave to convert into a puppy-pushchair so that if I have no6 with us, he/she can join in the fun but not get over tired!
Becs and the Gang
We'll be doing the puppy toddle with our little boy Bailey !!
I've discussed it at length with him and he says he would like to do it. Well I had a treat in one hand behind my back & he had to work out which one it was in without sniffing & 1 was or yes and the other was for no..........luckily for him, he picked yes!!
Sorry, waffled a bit there but hope you get the jist of it!!
