Hi Everyone, we are Joanne and Millie the 3.5 year old Choc Lab wave and we have no friends Sad awww poor us.

Joking aside I adore my first dog and what a fab breed I chose. Millie is the love of my life. I joined this forum cos I love labs and would like some help and advice to meet new friends with Labs so Millie has someone to play with. I tried googling meet new friends with Labs but ended up with lots of dating sites coming up ?!?

Millie and I walk regular and we do see familiar people but with no friends or family with dogs I worry Millie is a little lonely. She used to play with my friends dog, Alaskan Malamute, nice and meaty for Millie to get really boisterous with Rolling Eyes but we have lost touch. I've seen some pics of the get togethers on here with LOTS of Labs all running around having fun and I know she would love it.

We have done training classes in the past and I may look to go back again but thats more about being respectable in a class, which is great but I want her to have a run and play and some fun.

Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated, of ir you live in West Midlands and fancy a walk let me know.

I think you have to subscribe to the site to be able to see all of the Get Together dates being arranged between members - well worth doing in my opinion!! Very Happy

Hi and welcome to LF, yes as Laura says your best joining us all properly its the best £10 i have ever spent. There is always a get together going on somwhere, I am yet to get to one but am arranging one for in the next few weeks.

Millie will get to meet lots of new friends as you will too. One thing we do like on here is lots of photos haha.

Get Togethers (GTs) can be great fun, and can be a short walk in a park with lots of labs running round and swimming in a lake, ranging to camping weekends lasting a few days. You are welcome to join in any you want to. Just put it on the relevant thread.
