Our Molly does exactly the same thing with shoes but I have noticed that when my husband is away on buiness that it is always his shoes she picks. When he is home and I am at work it is my shoes I find in her bed when I get back. The other day she did it with my eldest son's shoes when he was out at work Maybe it's just coincidence but I think that it is a comfort thing for someone she is missing. It doesn't bother me as she doesn't chew them, in fact I think it's quite sweet.

So sorry to hear about Boycie,we lost our chocolate boy aged just 4 to peritonitis and it was a very sudden but painful death. It was horrendous and i was angry for a long time.Like others have said he had 4 wonderful years and you have done an amazing thing by taking in a dog that needed a loving home.As for pinching things,my Teddy does it all the time from socks and shoes to towels and tshirts,he never chews them just sleeps on them which doesnt bother me one bit.I love the name Boycie by the way, made me smile xxx

I'm sorry for your loss Sad

Jiff sounds adorable though! Gus doesn't steal my things but likes to pull coats and things that smell of me down off chairs to lie on top of them. He didn't want me to leave for work this morning and after I'd left my OH found this on the kitchen table!![/img]

Sorry for the size!

Awwww - I always leave Tucker with something I have been recently wearing. He curls up on it in his crate! I refresh it every so often to keep it fresh - usually in bed or for dog walking!

Tucker is training me to tidy up FAR better than my parents or Luna ever managed to Laughing Laughing He likes to collect things while I have a bath in the evening - he stashes them on my bed! Toilet roll, pants, socks, glasses, mobile, purse, squeaky Mr Xmas Bounce, ball with bell on a rope, tissues, various other toys..... Luna lies there next to him looking at me as if to say Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

My two don't do that (Bella would just chew it Rolling Eyes ), but I had a greyhound that used to tak things and put them on his bed. He even once took a box of bakewell tarts that had been left in a shopping bag on the floor. There was hardly a tooth mark on the box Shocked
