Hi, welcome to the forum Smile

Could you or your husband arrange to go home at lunchtime? I think leaving one dog for 7+ hours is rather long, anyway, but you're right, a rescue is very unlikely to rehome a dog in that situation. Having a lunchtime visit home, or finding a dog walker/sitter to go in for an hour would make a difference though.

For example, lovely Frank has just become available for adoption and he could go to full-time workers, provided they make arrangements for a lunchtime visit/walk/break Smile

Thank you all for your lovely welocomes. Lucans owner in Devon....Luna was born on August 15th 2009 in South Wales. Both her parents are working gundogs. Her pedegree name is Dolydd Damselfly..when we had her papers, we found out her grandmother was called Mollie Luna.Your comments are very much appreciated. As I mentioned I do work 4 days a week, but am home by 3.30,and when we are home she by my side all the time. She seems to have adapted to this very well.Often I will hide treats around the house for her to find...kind of a doggie treasure hunt !!!
I loved looking at all your photos...Im trying to find out how to upload mine...not much luck so far tho !!! Rolling Eyes
