What Fiona said May have a slightly harder job getting her INTO pup, but when folks ask this I try and express (no pun intended) that if you even halved the dogs fertility, it would still be hundreds of thousands of sperm per ejaculation.... So not much of a harder job
The only problem with older stud dogs I've found sometimes through handling them is they may not quite put such a big effort into the job and so have a harder time hitting that 'tie button' nestling down the bitches pipes and tubes So occasionally more slip matings occur than with punchy thrusting younger lads. But thats not always the case and a pregnancy can still occur of course from a slip.

I had 12 healthy pups from Brooke from a 12 year old stud dog
He would have given up if she had been hard to mate I think, but luckily she is a very easy bitch to mate and I am very pleased with the results.
