Don't panic! Do your research, ask questions and be prepared for a few nights with little sleep!

labs can chew for Britain, but we have never had any problems, she has lots of her stuff to chew and we keep anything we don't want her to get well out of the way.

you do have to have eyes in the back of your head tho........................

Sounds like you're prepared so you are definitely on the right track to being right Very Happy My last pup was great we trained her from day one what she could and couldn't chew and despite a few hiccups (she was a lab) our house and furniture still look good as new. Labs are so eager to learn so if you are willing to put the effort in and channel their energy into something positive you will have a wonderful life together Very Happy

We get a black girl on Thursday so I know exactly how you feel! Good luck and this place is really great for any advice you may need!
