Lots more fingers and paws crossed from here for Barney, hope they are nothing sinister.

As the owner of a lumpy lab myself I fully understand your worries. It's so easy to imagine the worst but try to stay positive. Older dogs are so prone to this kind of thing and although it is natural to fear the worst it isn't always something nasty. We have all fingers and paws crossed here that it all goes well and you get good news. Keep us posted.

Norma

Paws and fingers crossed here too and a bucket load of healing vibes for a speedy recovery and the best possible news.
Amber too is a bit of a lumpy senior lady so I too understand your worries
