Seriously. She was just over 2Kg when I picked her up. Weighed at 12 weeks and was 4kg, now 5.75kg.

She is small for her age.

It all comes down to the fact that the breeder had two little children who had Mahsa as their 'favourite' of the litter. This meant that they 'played' with her a lot and at 6-8 weeks before we collected her she didn't really get the care from mum that she really needed.

This made me quite upset, but more out of wanting to get the pup out of the hell-house that she was groaning up in. Now she is here we are going to try and build her up as much as possible, but I don't think she'll ever be a big dog. She wasn't abused by the breeders kids, but it wasn't the ideal environment for her and I treat her more like a rehoming than a normal puppy purchase.

Ah I see. Well, it sounds like she is thriving with you now. Hope she will be okay. Smile
