Mahsa is shedding her puppy coat...bloody great clumps of hair coming out when I stroke her!

I know it's natural and part of the growing up she has to do...but how one will this last?

Laughing clicked on this to post much the same as the above replies.

welcome to owning a lab, you'll be hard pressed to see a hair free floor or have hair free clothes again.

Welcome to Labrador world. Very Happy You have to get used to sweeping and hoovering rather a lot.

You could always try to spin the hair into a ball of wool and knit a jumper with it. Laughing

I'll give you some hope Wink It does lessen a bit between the major shedding times Laughing

When I got Shadow I was getting handfuls of hair in my hands as I stroked her, but 2 months later, it is much better and I no longer have brown fur carpets Rolling Eyes Bella has also just been through a major shedding phase because of her season, but has also stopped. I can now get away with vacuuming once every two days rather than twice a day Laughing

Yep, I think you had better get used to clean carpets being a thing of the past! I brush and vacuum once a day here, but it could do with being done morning and evening really (but I only do that if I have visitors Very Happy )

Haven't you noticed how many "cleaning" threads appear on here?
